Browse through our Products for Sale Ingredients Milk, rennet, cultures, salt, (truffles, truffle oil for Truffello only) Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) No artificial colorings, preservatives, or additives are used in the cheese making process of our cheeses, which are all created by hand. Our cheese is made with antibiotic free and hormone-free 100% cow’s milk from a local farmer. Additional Information Our Company Values Efficient Production: We are currently producing 40% more cheese than we did this time last year and we are using 3% less total utilities. Packaging: We redesigned our box in February 2008 to use 65% less material. All of our packaging materials are made from recycled materials as well as being recyclable themselves. Shipping Material Reduction: NOTE: In October 2010 we achieved 90% return on the shipping materials Our cheese has to stay cold; therefore we use a lot of insulation, cardboard and refrigeration gel packs to ship our cheese. To do this we utilize a system we call SWEC to have our customers return these materials to us after the shipment is complete. As of October 2010 this system saves over 400 pounds of shipping materials from the landfill every month. Food Recycling: All the cheese that we don't sell due to a variety of reasons is donated to the local food bank. (you know...sometimes we squash one, while it is still edible...it doesn't look so hot.) |
