Bierocks & Bakery Items About Us NEW ITEMS........ Bread - Loaves already baked and ready to slice and eat - wonderful toasted! Made with cracked wheat from Rattlesnake Ridge Ranch and fresh eggs from Prairie House Herbs! Dinner Rolls - already baked and ready to heat or eat right from the package. Also made with the cracked wheat from Rattlesnake Ridge Ranch, and eggs from Prairie House Herbs! WHAT IS A BIEROCK?? Bierocks are a sandwich containing a filling of ground meat, cabbage, onion and other spices totally encased in a yeast dough filling. We make three "flavors" of Bierocks: Hamburger with American Cheese - the top seller German Brand Sausage - my favorite Hamburger - for those not wanting cheese. HISTORY Becky's Bierocks began as a menu item for a local resturant which evolved into selling the bierocks frozen in "take home" quantities. From there we began to sell to local markets, which required a meat certified and inspected facility. B & R Bierocks, Inc. opened in June 1991 at the present location with one employee. What started as a small cottage industry has grown to include sales in several markets and now employs nine people. B & R Bierocks Inc., "Becky's Bierocks" is owned and operated by Becky Roberson. Browse through our Products for Sale Ingredients All Bierocks are made with lean ground meats. Hamburger with Cheese and Hamburger are made with ground beef. German Sausage is made with a combination of 2/3 ground beef and 1/3 ground pork and german seasonings. This is not a 'spicy' product - my favorite - with a nice combination of flavors! The vegetables are chopped and brought in fresh each week. Our yeast dough contains unbleached and whole wheat flours, whole eggs, sugar, and other ingredients. Just like Grandma used to make - in fact that is the recipe we use! Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) The Bierocks are produced in a FSIS/USDA Meat Inspected Facility under the supervision of an on site inspector. They are sent off and tested periodically in USDA labs. Daily cooking, baking and cooling temperatures are taken and recorded to insure the quality and safety of the product. Each day the meat is browned and then the vegetables and seasonings are added and it is steamed until the cabbage is cooked. The filling is drained and cooled. The dough is also made fresh daily. Bierocks are hand assembled, formed and baked fresh daily. Individually frozen overnight, bagged and packed in the boxes, ready for sale and returned to the freezer waiting delivery. Additional Information Becky's Bierocks are a complete, healthy, preserative free meal from frozen to ready to eat in a couple minutes in the microwave - hand made!!
