About Us
Triple M Bar Ranch is a family-owned and operated ranch in Southeastern Colorado. We take pride in raising naturally grown lamb and Great Pyrenees guard dogs that are born and raised with our sheep.
Our ranch headquarters sits on Buckeye Hill in Crowley County on the bluffs overlooking the Arkansas River Valley. We also have grazing land in the valley along the river.
We are members of Colorado Proud, Colorado Woolgrowers Assoxciation, American Sheep Industry, Society for Range Management, Soil and Water Conservation Society, and American Society of Agronomy. We are also part of the Colorado Birding Trail and are volunteers for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow (CoCoRaHS) Network. Mary is also a Colorado Ag Ambassador, helping to promote the importance of agriculture in our State.

Our lambs are pasture fed. We do not use antibiotics or growth hormones. The lambs are processed at a USDA-inspected facility in Southeastern Colorado.
The produce and melons are grown in our fertile Arkansas River Valley.
Additional Information
Our ewe flock is composed of Warhill ewes that we purchased from Warren Livestock Company in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Warhills are a closed breed developed in the 1930s by Fred Warren, son of Senator Francis E. Warren, the founder of Warren Livestock, and by Dr. John Hill, then dean of the School of Agriculture at the University of Wyoming and an internationally-recognized sheep authority.
Lineage is derived principally from Rambouillet, Panama, Columbia, and Targhee. We use Warhill, Hampshire, and Dorper rams.
We are also very well-known for our Great Pyrenees guard dogs. The pups are born and raised with their working Mom, our other Pyrenees, and our sheep. Our pups have gone to new homes in Arkansas, Michigan, Nebraska, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.
